How is it Practised?

The Indian Head Massage therapy session is practised with the recipient sitting upright in a chair. During the session the recipient remains fully clothed, only removing any jewellery which may obstruct the therapy. No oils or creams are used as the treatment is practised through clothing. Many enjoy the pleasure of regular sessions relieving the stresses and strains of modern life.

Indian Head Massage gives the receiver a deep sense of inner peace and tranquillity. The duration of each session need only be between 20 – 40 minutes.

Course entry requirement: No experience required. Suitable for those wishing to practise on family and friends and for therapists wishing to add another string to their bow.

Following training: A & P qualified can practice professionally, those not A & P qualified and wish to practise professionally can follow course with accredited exam and become a practitioner. By the end of the second day, the aim is for each student to reach a competent, confident level of practise and understanding – with the aid of the handbook we supply, and any notes you may make. I am proud to say that our comprehensive training manual and DVD that is the most detailed yet easy-to-follow reference material you’ll probably find, anywhere! On completing the course to a satisfactory level of competence and understanding, a certificate will be posted on to you to enable insurance cover as a practitioner.

INDIAN HEAD MASSAGE – Exam

ACCREDITED by the Association of Natural Medicine (ANM)

The exam will take place in Felixstowe

About the exam:  The Association of Natural Medicine (ANM) exam follows on from the 2-Day Course. Requirements for the exam are 12 case studies – of four clients worked three times. These are to be presented on case history sheets on the Accredited Course Day for assessment by the examiner/assessor. If you wish to post case history sheets in advance of the course date, Chris would be glad to assess them and pass on any guidance.

An exam revision manual will be supplied, as part of the course fee, on booking for the ANM exam – and is designed to aid you in your home study.
