Woodbridge performers

Our lineup for this year’s festival!

Emaline Delapaix

Emaline Delapaix - vocals, acoustic guitar, keyboard & hand drum

Emaline Delapaix is an Australian singer, songwriter and musician that writes emotional and ethereal folk/pop songs for piano, acoustic guitar and Celtic harp. Some say she sounds a little like Kate Bush or Tori Amos, but she also loves a lot of Scandinavian music: music that invokes the weather like storms and warm sunsets. Her lyrics explore the human condition and thoughtful themes such as mental health, mindfulness, ancestors, chronic illness, love, animal welfare, women’s empowerment, travel/adventure and healing nature. After a difficult year in 2010, Emaline decided to quit her day job in Toronto Canada and moved to an isolated fixed caravan in rural Eastern Germany, close to the Polish border where she taught herself to play 3 instruments and lived for a year and half before settling in Berlin as a full time musician.

She Brings the Rain

Vocals, violin and guitar

She Brings the Rain are two versatile musicians from Harwich who play folk music at festivals and local events. Playing original songs, covering music they love and making it our own with great wit and talent, this is certainly not one to miss!

Wayne McHugh

Guitar & vocal

He will be sharing his music including the beautiful angelic infused tones of ‘The Angel Song’ taken from his debut album ‘Angel Eyes’.  This song has a touching story from one of his many enlightening spiritual experiences he encountered whilst working as a Paramedic.

Sandra Jones

Saxophone solo

Sandra will be playing her beautiful saxophone sounds, we are delighted to have her performing at our Woodbridge event this year.

BFriendly

Vocals, guitar & keyboard

BFriendly is the brainchild of pianist Ian Haywood. His duo play feel good reggae music and he sings about his life, loves, nature and the environment with his anecdotal humour and singalong style. With 2 albums now released the influences for his songs come from his lifelong love of reggae music and include major reggae artists such as Jimmy Cliff, Desmond Dekker, Shaggy and Bob Marley. We are proud to have BFriendly as one of our Woodbridge Performers for 2024.
